Well since last posted saved £25 on Friday last by not having my cleaner. Then we found a local attraction that was opening its doors for free over the weekend and took a picnic so saved money there. Then on Sunday spent only £46 on weekly shop instead of £70 and it has lasted only one more day to go. Haven't done much Mon, Tues, Wed. Tried to swap from talk talk to 02 offering home phone and broadband, as there was a £111 cashback through Topcashback but was told the offer wasn't really as it was described (being £25 per month) and it would end up costing me £43 connection fee, and then £35 per month which is way higher than I am paying. I am an existing 02 customer as well and supposed to get 12 months half price according to the website. I didn't fully understand why. So missed out on that one.0

Won 100 swagbucks today for commenting on their facebook daily discussion :j. They are trying hard to launch a bigger UK customer base and are directing questions on facebook to UK users and offering swagbucks for best answers. I'd like to say I had a fantastic answer but think its more the case that lots of americans commented so I was the best of a bad bunch :rotfl:. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is look out for their daily discussions and I hope you get lucky. I can cash out another £5 Amazon voucher nowDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
Best win so far - holiday to Florida0 -
I read into all that kinda thing, if your ill/holiday give them as much notice as possible. You get to choose the hours you work by signing on and then off when you've had enough. So I could sign on when LO has a nap in the day, always a minimum of an hour, and then sign off when she wakes. If im ill one day, I just need to make it up throughout the rest of the week to get me back to 25hrs. The only drawback is that you have to work either 1 nightshift, 12am-6am, or a weekend dayshift 6am-12pm. The nightshift would be better as I'd have the children at weekends. They pay 14p permin when working over 25hrs, 10p permin if below. So if I worked only 25hrs that would get me at least £400 pm. Obviously I wont be on the phone for the whole 25hrs so easy money. Calls dont last much longer than 6mins (this surprises me...
) and the first min you dont get paid for. I'll give it a go, MS didnt work for me so Im working my way through the 'Up your income' list!
You have to log in for 25hrs per week
But only get paid for the time on the call - but not for the first minute of each call. So if you get a 2 min call you only get 10p, a 3 min call = 20p. So be careful0 -
guess what folks?
It's free listing on ebay this weekend.
Yeahhhh!!! Thanks for the heads up Aesop!!!Askfortheshoe wrote: »
How do you all seem to stay so positive all the time??!? It's getting a little dull always struggling.
Ohh Askfortheshoe! I really wish i could say i stay positive all the time. If you find some of my post from a couple of weeks ago you wouldn't think that (but you might think i'm nuts). I have made some amazing friends on here all helping me along the way and listening to me moan on, so if you need to moan or vent, then there are plenty of people around to listen. Myself included. Feel free to PM me if your getting down and you ever need to chat. Sending you lots of hugs, and i hope things pick up for you (and me!) very soon! xxx
Right, now for my quick update. Have spend the last 2 days with a AWFUL sickness bug and only just starting to feel human again. Nothing to add apart from £3 from the shy forestry people which is better than nothing i guess!
