Hi everyone
Wanted to update you all after my cashback insurance query
Well i went through TCB and all the time OH saying 'you sure this will work, you sure this will work...':rotfl: and me going 'yes, of course' meanwhile thinking of the 2 claims i put in for cashback that hadn't tracked  The thing is who we went with for insurance wasn;t the cheapest - but was with the cashback
So i'm a little anxious its not showing yet
 Its showing the retailer at £0. i don't usually use this cashback site so not 100% on how this one works but have seen all the positive stuff about it from everyone on here and if it goes well as expected i may use this as my main cashback site
I'm not going to worry about it - log into cashback most days anyway so will continue to check it and just give it the 7days and then chase it. Thing is i would have to give OH the difference if it didn't track £24 - between this and what the actual cheapest quote was that we couldn't get cashback on.
If it does track though we are splitting the cashbackBecause i'm the one spending all the time sorting these things out so OH will have saved more money so he's happy
and i'll get a bit for sorting it all out
- Now please don't think i'm tight
me and OH have separate finances and even though he earns more than twice my salary - probably nearly 3 times actually and he has no debts and all the bills are split 50-50 so i think its ok that i spend the time doing this - which he wouldn't bother with and we both benefit

Aesop or anyone who can help - sorry to trouble you againDo i put in the claim for higher cashback once its showing an amount in there rather than £0?
Had another 6 eb*y sales today :T Am up to over £100 profit for the last 3 days but will add it once its in my account. This is also just from those that have paid so it will be boosted again when everyones paidI;ve already checked the fees and p&p is pretty accurate.

no trouble at all, wait until there is an amount showing in your cashback higher than £0, then put in your claim.0 -
Thanks Aesop - you and everyone on this thread are so friendly and helpful
only hope i can return the favour one day
So today then i got up and thought hmm my insurance is due in a couple of months i'll just check the details -:eek::eek: Turns out its due this month  Think it was something odd that happened when i changed my car last year so now my insurance is earlier than its ever been  Ok, so the savings money is going to come through in just enough time and for almost the exact right amount i'd budgetted for itPlus i can go through cashback and with the company who'll be cheapest it seems i may get some gift vouchers too which will be perfect for a birthday thats coming up in a couple of months :T
What wasn't great was the several phone calls and near enough 40 minutes i spent on the phone to the company i'm insured with now with each person telling me something different  Just means i need to keep an eye on my bank account and hope they don't try and take money that won't be there when i've said i won't be insuring with them
Checked banking and can my paypal money will be in there tomorrow - just in time to cover mondays DD - plus some MS money - the smaller amount so hopefully alot more will arrive towards the end of the month. All stuff i'll add on tomorrow once its in thereCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Ha ha Aesop...I think that we are all proberly guilty of concentrating so much on tackling our debts and working our butts off that we let other things slide a little...personally ive been walking around with half worn of nail varnish on me toes for about a week!!
Just haven't seemed to made the time to take it off and tell myself..."Well its not like anyone else sees it"
Thanks for the linky tip :T Ahhhhhh just tried to add the linky, but not allowed to because of my nice new shiny accountBuild your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs

I love the sound of this (and desperately need something like this, lol!), so have just joined you :T
Well I'm adding 60p as my friend just bought me a paper, it's one I buy every week so has saved me forking out for it.

Morning, morning!
We I have a lovely £46 to add from Fleabay salesI'm still waiting for payment for one item and I've got another one where I will be getting cash on collection - saving me Paypal fees! I think that's going over the weekend so will add once received.
Not a lot else going on at the moment. No insurances due for a while which is a pity. Can't wait to do it all through cash back sites!
Finally found a receipt for my exam payment (my company reimburse) and put that through yesterday. I didn't think I'd get it till next month but it should come through mid this month - which is good as it will be the majority of my CC payment for this month. I'm thinking that I'm going to add all my bill savings (Council Tax / phone insurance) to my savings as I'm used to paying more and surviving. That can then be a contingency fund in case I can't clear CC in normal payments before 0% interest ends.
I will be looking in to Bingo this weekend. If anyone has any sausages they would like me to use, please PM me£10 a day July 2012 £0 / £290 £10 a day May 2012 £157.08 / £310 £10 a day April 2012 £406.11 / £300 £10 a Day March 2012 £327.59 / £310 £10 a Day Feb 2012 £297.07 / £290 £10 a Day Jan 2012 £390 / £310 :j0 -
Not much to report today, just £1.50 found in spare change at home. Hoping to send some books off to zapper so should have a bit more to add tomorrow
Don't think it'll be long until I can get my first £5 from swagbucks eitherMarch £5 a day challenge - £48.56/£1550
