Afternoon all -
Having a wonderfully rubbish day - boss is being a wotsit and taking the michael a little bit with what he thinks my job title seems to entail :-S I would love to move job closer to home (currently travelling 2 hours each way) but there's just nothing around near where I live in the area that I work in. OH is always on at me about it - lots of 'just get a job closer to home' - easier said than done!!!!! Grump.
On a brighter note - I am declaring £10 saving for not having to pay for new toothbrush heads as bought with free vouchers. I also had to get a couple of bits for wedding cake I am making (also with free vouchers) that my mother will be paying for as she is the one technically giving the cake - I will add when I get the money.
Had a couple of eBay sales go through this morning, both selling for more than I expected. I've got a whole load more ending later today as well - some with bids, most with watchers so hopefully they'll all decide they really want what I'm selling! Again, I'll update once I know what's gone for what etc.
Surveys ground to a halt a little bit - and nothing for that one week survey on cats I did - cheeky wotsits!
Also - had council tax bill for the next year through yesterday. Initial minor panic as it stated I had £141 outstanding from last year, but found out it was just that the letter was sent before I made the final payment. Payments will go down by £30 from April (yay!). I also reduced my phone insurance costs today by £6. I'm not going to count either as CT is a requirement and I don't want to be paying the phone insurance at all. I called to cancel and got talked in to keeping it (albeit at a lower cost). Must be more firm. Must be more firm.
Anyway, hope all having a good day / week£10 a day July 2012 £0 / £290 £10 a day May 2012 £157.08 / £310 £10 a day April 2012 £406.11 / £300 £10 a Day March 2012 £327.59 / £310 £10 a Day Feb 2012 £297.07 / £290 £10 a Day Jan 2012 £390 / £310 :j0 -

if you have home insurance, check your policy, probably covers your phone. You can always write to them to cancel.0 -
Ive had a bit of an up and down time lately with moneysaving. Managed to lose £30 worth for Airwick vouchers that I paid £7 for so I'm kicking myself for that but then got a voucher for a free touch free soap dispenser (not that I will really use it but every little helps) and picking up a new collar for the dog for free as the other one broke and I wrote to complain so thats a bonus. Just ordered some food from Ocad0, not that I normally shop here, but I received an email for £10 off so I'll count that towards my savings. Sold a jumper on ebay so got a grand total of £2.62 but its better than it sitting in the loft
Finally got round to sending off my old coins which I've had for the last 15 years, hope some of them are worth something£5 a day April 2012 £133.97 / £155£7.50 a day March 2012 £234.07 / £232.50Homebase Card - £1099.96 / [STRIKE]£1600[/STRIKE]Barclaycard £4546.60 / [STRIKE]£5556.60[/STRIKE]0 -
Just checked my bank account to see if something went out earlier in the week and I found two £10 payments from Caesars! Very strange to have something go in half way through the day, I've been on my online banking twice earlier today and they weren't there then!
£10 of that was a deposit, but the other £10 is profit, so I can add that... which takes me over target! :j
£157.26/£155
Yippee, lol! Seems silly declaring on the 7th of the month, so I think I'll up my target. I didn't think I'd have any hope of making £10 a day this month as I'm away next week and am pretty busy this month, but may as well go for it as I'm half way there already. I've also got a few extra bits of money due, so shouldn't be too unachievable.
So Sweets, can you please change my target to £10 a day :j0 -

£21.75 profit from paddy power hit my account today - hurrah. Cashback still hasn't tracked from a week ago which is a bit worrying. How long would people leave it before they raise a claim? Actually thinking about it I only deposited £5 on paddy power, don't remember seeing anything about needing to play £10 to get cashback, does any one know?
I also joined ceasars bingo last night but havent been able to get it work on my comp, I get sign in but when I press on bingo the screen just says 'loading' and doesnt change - anyone else had any trouble or is it likely to be my comp (despite the fact that fab, paddy power and xbingo all worked fine??)
Hoping someone can help!0 -

Did you do it through tcb? Would raise with them. Try using a different browser. My computer doesn't like I E.0 -
Thanks Aesop, just seen a different advert on TCB thats says you need to spend £10 on paddy power to get the cashback, hopefully if I play another £5 then it will show up - if not will make a claim in a week or so.
I use firefox, just trying IE now for caesars but not looking hopeful, booooooo0 -

My Paddy Power took 3 days to track - I wagered £10 but can't remember what the terms were. Well done on your winnings!

Mine also hasn't tracked yet and I joined about 3 weeks ago! I will raise a claim I think. I do think you needed to wager £10 though
