I can genuinely say that if you made this point after the first time I typed it then I would have modified it, I am sorry it caused you offence as it really wasn't intended that way to you or anybody else in rented accommodation.
After consideration a more thought out way of wording it would have been.
...As you keep referring to me as a mummies boy the only other option is to rent to which you will call me stupid for paying a landlords mortgage, so how can any young people win?...

That they actually state that they are happy for their family to be stuck in the misery of negative equity. That they actually say that they want to put their family's finances at risk so that strangers can buy the same house that they did, but for a much cheaper price. Sorry, but that's all just bollox.
Seems your problem is being unable to differenciate between "want" and "accept".
I've not seen anyone stating they implicitly want their house to fall in value. Accepting it however is a very very different thing. No doubt you will be off now suggesting wanting house prices to fall is wanting their house to fall in price. But I believe the way you explained it puts a completely different slant on what's being said..... a slant that's easy to dismiss and easy to dismiss someone elses arguments on.
Figure out the difference and you are half way to understanding what people are talking about.0

You'retalking gibberish again Graham, yet somehow managed to prove my point. I'm not talking about people, like myself, who accept the fact that house prices rise or fall. I'm clearly talking about people who state on here that they WANT house prices to fall. You're right, though they never state that they want THEIR house prices to fall, just other people's! :rotfl:
Which are you Graham? Do you WANT house prices to fall or do you ACCEPT house prices may fall?0
