Nationwide now also reporting a continued trend upwards.

Halifax are more skewed towards the North, so my guess is that it wont show solid positive figures until next month

All the good news data has obviously broken Jimmy.

    I use my own data.

    Its called rightmove.

Rightmove says asking prices are lower, which means ill pay a lower price for a house.

Its a pretty simple system really.

You know you are broken, and you know why:)

Incorrect. Rightmove says prices ARE rising. And rising at the fastest rate for TEN years. It's decision time lad and that decision splits the men from the boys. It's time to swallow your pride, admit you're wrong, and buy.

Rightmove told YOU that asking prices were rising.

I just do a search in the area im looking to buy and figure out whats going on for myself.

There hasnt been any price rises in the areas im looking to buy in.

I have to agree with Jimmy on this, all the houses I look at around me are no change or down, nothing is going up.

And yet again, asking prices don't equal selling prices.
