Anyone used cashback with Vodafone Business on a renewal?
Hi all,
We have 4 phones with Vodafone business on a single account.
They are coming up to renewal, and I really want to save some cash by using cashback. It looks like most of the offers are for new contracts only though >:(
Has anyone figured out a way where they can say take out a new contract, but then port over their old number or similar? Alternatively, does anyone with more experience have any other ideas on how to capitalise on cashback? (eg: changing provider crossed my mind, so alternate between say Orange and Vodafone at each contract renewal?)
We're self-employed, so happy to jump through some hoops etc. if it means we can save for each phone we migrate via cashback.
Thanks

Bad time to be looking for something decent on cashback deals. I never port but there's nothing to stop you taking out a new cashback contract and porting. Some dealers will restrict how many contratcs you can take out in a certain amount of time.0

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll definitely keep an eye out for limitations on how many we can do etc.
You mention it's a bad time for cashback deals... is there a good time coming up in the near future (say 2-3 months)?0 -
Now that's anyone's guess. It's quite impossible to predict - there are no particular patterns. Fo a LONG time there were lots of good deals - but since before Christmas they have virtually disappeared. had there been any decent ones I'd have added to my own fleet. Even those I look after who didn't order new contracts early enough before their current ones ended have needed to use the odd deal I found for them which served the purpose but weren't ideal.
As for the numbers permitted; the main dealers don't advertise those; it's about knowing how they work.0
