Talk Talk vs Sky packages?

Hi All
I'm about to move my broadband away from BT, and I've narrowed it down to Talk Talk or Sky for their various packages. I'm now a little stumped, as I've read all the negative stuff about Talk Talk, but wondered what their connection times etc are like now.
My choice is between
Sky package £20/month. This includes 2 tv channel packs, unlimited talk, and basic free internet. + of course £11 line rental
or
Talk Talk - 3 International £21/month (after initial discount period), no extra tv channels, but also no line rental.
I'm not hugely fussed about the Sky TV, but also quite happy to pay if TalkTalk are still too unreliable.
Grateful for any hints / advice from you all please!!!
Kathy

As you probably know talktalks' customer support is terrible and as another thread states e-mail is intermittent at best. Mine has been non-existent for the past 3 days and have had to set up a web-based email address to keep in touch.
I think in this case you do get what you pay for and that once early subscribers come to the end of their 18 month contract period, say in October this year, they will jump ship to a proper ISP.“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0 -
Thanks Deklan. I'd thought as much, but wanted to check that Talk Talk hadn't suddenly pulled it out the bag
Sky it is then!Lead me not into temptation - I can find it perfectly well all by myself0 -
I am on BT at the moment and its quite expensive compared to others but i must say ive had no problems with them
I want to switch to cheaper and was looking into talk talk but after reading on here i dont think i will bother lol
At the moment my broadband is nearly £25 a month and my phone package (free landline calls anytime) is nearly £25 a month so im paying nearly £50 for both can anybody advise cheaper for the same packages we can only get upto 2meg broadband in our area0 -
Beware about moving to Sky broadband. At peak times, their 8mb speed can be as fast as 349kbps (http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/117174726763869514094.html). I'm eagerly waiting for a year to lapse before asking for my MAC code and that's 11 and a half months way.:jDON'T STEAL!!!
