Networking question - which router?

Yep but the WAP has to have a DHCP server on it toomost of these uni networks supply via ethernet, so unless you have a cable router/posh router with incoming ethernet WAN connector it probably won't work, hence suggesting a WAP.....4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . true, most of them these days do, even the cheapies. TPLink, Edimax, Tenda, quite a choice.... I've got an Edimax in the office at present, didn't need to do anything other than plug the ethernet cable in and off we went

Thanks for all the help everyone. Bought a £8 cable router off ebay. Plugged it in, changed a few settings and it works perfectly! Just what I wanted it to do.
The only issue now is that my 98mbps connection has dropped to around 40mbps
Beggars can't be choosers I suppose
