Pay as You Go - Free Calls to Same Network for £10
Hi,
My partner and I both have Tesco Pay as you Go mobiles at the moment because the triple credit option has worked well for us. This has changed now because my partner recently started work and I speak to him on a daily basis and my credit is used in just over a week.
Can anyone suggest a Network where you can top up for around £10 a month and get unlimited free calls to the same network? Looking for a sim only deal for myself but partner needs a new handset. The only one I have found is Giff Gaff but I don't know what their customer service is like. Does anyone else you them?
Many Thanks.
P.S. We can't have a Pay Monthly Contract because we both went bankrupt a couple of years ago.

They don't have any as such - it's pretty much forum based
TBH - I can't ever recall needing CS for a PAYG phone
I quite like Giff-gaff as it works on my O2 locked iPhone0 -
PAYG runs on Vodafone network. https://www.icardmobile.co.uk have free calls up to 10 mins at a time, min top-up £5 and cheap calls and texts.0

It's almost free, not free, but still is worth mentioning (Orange): Magic Numbers - Pay as you go0

Vodafone chat with three other people as much as you like when one of you pays just £5 a month.
- You can call each other whenever you want, day or night, and chat for up to an hour at a time.
- Keep it in the family or bring your best friends together. It’s up to you who's part of your Vodafone Family group.
- You can even mix and match Pay as you go and Pay monthly people – as long as you're all with Vodafone

giffgaff is your best option.
Tesco mobile and giffgaff both piggy-back the O2 network so you can be sure of a good signal (assuming that your Tesco sims always got a good signal).''apply within''0 -

Why is that then? neil40 has accurately explained the giffgaff offer - unlimited gg to gg calls for 3 months when you top up £10.
It certainly could be what the OP chooses.
But other options, some of which have already been mentioned, could be more suitable.
If we are going for the strict moneysaving cheapest way to get free same network calls, then ioscorpio's excellent suggestion of icardmobile is spot on. You do not need to regularly top up at all. You simply need to have a credit balance of 10p or more, and you can make a free 10 minute call to another icardmobile number. You can also make top ups of just £5 as and when you need to (Giffgaff have a minimum £10 top up). You will need to make a chargeable call/text every 90 days (I think) to keep the sim active.
It depends which is most important - paying less money, or not wanting to ring back every 10 minutes.0 -

icard is on the Vodafone network, the OP is on Tesco (the same as giffgaff) so they can be sure of decent coverage by switching to giffgaff. Also, they can get completely free calls to freephone numbers.....a handy moneysaver. giffgaff is tried and tested.''apply within''0 -
Hi cara, have a look at giffgaff on the Internet,am on it,it is what you are looking for, trust me it's sound,:beer:0

I top up £15 a month and get free texts and calls to any other o2 number from my o2 mobile. You can choose to just top up £10 a month and you then get free calls or free texts I am not 100% sure which.0
