I would suspect Motherboard / cpu rather than PSU.
does it do any beeps?
Unplug all the cables apart from the power switch and the power to the motherboard, take out any cards, memory and switch on it should give you some beeps after a few seconds. reassemble the system 1 piece at a time switching on between each part/connection.

THe board was playing up on me, would tell me i replied to a non existant thread , i just went back and did it again, it turned out it was posting it all along. sorry for the noise...bluetillidie wrote:thanks but why you post it three times lol
that single beep at the begining indicates that the motherboard passed its self test. if it doesnt beep or has a serries of beeps - then you mother board did not boot up or found an error. all of this could still be due to 'bad' power from the PSU, but most likely not, reset the jumper and hope for the best.Loves Saving Money.
Though much prefer making it
