t-mobile contract ended, best option?

I am currently on a t-mobile contract, think was £15 pcm for 300 mins, 300 texts + internet. (I got nokia 5800 phone at the time)

I got my contract through buymobiles.net

First question

who am best dealing with as a existing customer? t-mobile directly or buymobiles.net?

Second question

I'm looking for similar again, but with a new phone. phones I am looking at are, lumia800, experia Ray, or, on a cheaper contract maybe experia mini. Which is the best, and, or price?

Your contract has NOT ended, it will continue as before with a 30 day notice of cancellation instead of a fixed minimum term of X months. If you really need a new phone, it is invariably better to be a new customer, with a new number.

Prices and models are dynamic and change constantly, however this will lock you in to another 24 month contract, and could be problematic if your circumstances change.
  • yes, i do need a new phone, have kind of just limped on with my old phone to the end of the contract, the screen is cracked and has leaked a bit so hard to use.

I'm fine with a new contract, its just whether it is better to try as an existing customer or a new customer? Also whether to go though buymobiles.net or t-mobile?

Do you log into my t-mobile online account management? If not try and sign up. I got my HTC desire from t-mobile and have just logged in as I can now renew my contract. Wasn't bothered about a new phone but had a look at what they were offering - seemed to be some good deals if you want a new phone.

Instead I've signed up for another 2 years and they've given me £6 per month off a £10.21 monthly contract. I couldn't believe it! It took about 2 mins to do on the website.

I'm a low user so now get 100 mins 100 texts and unlimited data and landline calls for £4.21 per month!

I believe that new customers get better deals, especially through third parties. However, it's worth keeping your mind open and to compare different options.
