    Hi,
Spent £3.50 today on 3 x packs yogurts (used a MOC) and stuffing balls (MOC) & drinks for DD13 School.
Also £4.38 on the pizzas from MrT, but got £3.38 back in JTD. Will just knock the MOC off my next spend.
Spent £15 in M&S for a special meal for DH who is home from Iraq today, roast pork cravings!!!

Total £22.88 to add, but going to Italy for the weekend, so no spends from GC then.

Two full freezers so no excuse!!! HM pavlova with HM ice cream tonight after the roast pork!

Hope all are well, will catch up now!
    Sally.

Ninno820, I think you're brave just to step foot into waitflower! I've had to ban myself :o.

Went to !id! in a grump after receiving letter from bank about mortgage rate rise. So spent more than I should on chocolate (er, quite a lot of chocolate) and wine in addition to list. Spent £46.34 which pushes me far beyond where I should be so am going to have to come back later to update sig!!

Got a big pan of lentil jollop simmering away which will be the base for curry one night, chilli and a cottage pie. Hopefully it'll make up for the chocolate!:D

£4.79 spent today on bread and bananas (usual mid-week topup) plus some ingredients to make Oreo brownies as we're having guests round on Friday. The rest of the dinner is from the freezer, but needed some pudding!

ETA: I use Lorraine Pascale's recipe, it's lush.

NSD for me although tomorrow I need to head out and get some onions (so I can make leek and potato soup) and some bread. I was thinking i might make some bread as I have everything in for it but it just doesnt last lol. In my defence the loaves are small (just taller).

Will also need childrens paracetamol and ibruprofen as nearly out of both and DS is poorly.

Having Jamie Olivers Pea and Bacon pasta tonight which I love and made enough to have leftovers fro lunch tomorrow yum!

Hi all another no spend day for me today thanks for replys re cash or debit card im sticking to cash this month but am also liking the idea of using tesco card for everything and getting as many points on my clubcard. I will see how i get on this month and experiment with tesco ccard next month and see what difference it makes to my points total at the end of the month. Loving this thread it keeps me focused on my budget. Today on the menu is chicken fajitas and i was going to make a cake but my digital scales gave up the ghost last week and i havnt replaced them yet, any suggestions ,special deals knocking about for a new set folks?

My only advice would be to get a set with AA batteries instead of those silly coin-shaped batteries. I made this mistake last time around, and it cost a small fortune to run as the batteries didn't last very long at all! I have now wised up to this, and my current set uses rechargeable AA batteries!!

Wow, I was having a daft moment when I read this. I was thinking rainforest, rainforest, is this something I should know about?! I'll have to click on the link to find out if this is something new and exciting. Then I read the link, and the penny dropped!!!

Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't get the Rainforest reference. When I clicked on the link, it was a case of
    .."doh, of course!"

I needed a couple of things today but decided not to cross the threshold of Waitflower as this inevitably results in a spend of at least £30 - yep, even if I've just popped in for milk and bread. :o
Instead it was £14.45 in Mr T - a bit better although I succumbed ot the temptation of a couple of mags . The till also printed out a voucher for £6 off a £40 shop to be used by 18/3/12. Should come in handy next week.

    Will update siggy.

Couple of small spends for me:

    Al*di - £12.75 & enough sandwich fillings/yoghurts for lunches for the next 2 weeks:j
Co-op - £4.64 unfortunately Al*di don't sell crumpets which is a bit annoying so had to stop for some but then fell to the DC BOGOF offer and a raspberry sponge cake which was whoopsied to 29p:D

Hopefully should just need rolls/crumpets for the next week or so:)

You should have a moan in your Ald! you are missing out as their crumpets are lovely (and cheap)
    http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/product_range/product_range_22419.htm

I spent £31 today, but £7 of that was on chocolates and sweets for work so I am only taking £24 off, I have a £5 off a £35 spend at Ald! and may use that tomorrow as its the last day am thinking of stocking up on washing powder, kitchen rolls, foil, bin bags etc. to make it worth using.
