I love nettle tea with a teaspoon of honey0

I've tried loads and only drink Tetley's green tea now. Not tried Clipper for a while, but will give it a go again.0

i like jasmine green tea, the Yogi teas are nice and the Liptons apple and cinnamon tea.
The Yogi teas are at Holland and Barrett, though a bigger selection is online at Goodness direct. I like the Choco Spice, the Liquorice and the Cinnamon one is n oce and warming in the winter.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500 -
I have tried thyme tea with fresh sprigs from the garden and that was very refreshing. I have a little Bodum jug with strainer (car boot, no doubt) and it is excellent for these herb teas.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

OH has more or less given up drinking coffee so I'm wondering whether I could use the cafetiere for loose tea ?
Thanks for the ginger and lemon tip kittycatface !
its funny you should mention cafetiere we went to a tea shop in the peak district at the weekend and they served loose leaf tea in a cafetiere! It was lovely, especially with home made scones and jam!0 -
I bought peppermint, green with vanilla and Earl Grey in Lidl all under £1 and then Liptons Morocco at ASDA for £10

I drink all kinds of teas, have a cupboard full of them - black, white, red, green, fruity, different combinations. I mostly drink Twinings, Lipton and Clippers but also have teas bought in "specialist" tea shops.
Twinings and Clippers send out samples, you will need to google it though as I don't have direct links to promotions.
Also, if you want to reduce your milk usage, you can drink black tea (no milk), optionally with a slice of lemon. My hubby after years of drinking milky tea suddenly stopped putting milk in his and says he prefers it that way!
Also, you need to remember to use different water temperature depending on what type of tea you're making. I don't remember all the exact temperatures just now but can tell you that red and green teas should for some reason never be made with freshly boiled water. You need to wait a couple of minutes or so before you pour water into the cup.0 -
Didn't know that about the temperatures, thank you.
On offer in Morrisons to 4th March.. Twinings green tea bag 20s 2 for £2 save 52p and Twinings fruit/herb teabags (excluding organics) 2 for £2 save 16p
The Lord Nelson peppermint tea from Lidl tastes great !0 -
Have you actually tried the Rooibos(you mentioned it re price). I started using it when dropping milk in tea - ordinary tea was too bitter, black. At first I though that it was quite different, but after just a few drinks I found it very like milk-less tea but more gentle and without that bitterness. The good thing is also that now there are some own-brand redbush teas.0

Lidl didn't have any rooibos in stock and my local ASDA doesn't stock it. I would have bought it as I like it.
Tried the Lord Nelson green tea with vanilla today.. ewww sorry.
Loving the peppermint one though !0
