I used to work for Ticketmaster and it's true, a staff perk is that you can snap up tickets when they go on sale. At least that was the case when I was there - about 6 years ago now. I was working there to support myself through university so didn't have the money to take advantage but I did do it for someone else once, for WWE. I understood then how those events sell out in minutes. Because the staff can get tickets for people. Hmm, perhaps now I feel bad about it. Ah well, the people I got them for were lifelong fans and would never have got the chance to go otherwise.

I don't think you should feel bad about it Everything gets perks with the job.. I'd take full advantage!

Got the code but all sold out, oh well!

Tickets went on sale at 10am and I managed to get in online and click 'best seats' at 15 seconds past the hour, got 3rd row of the circle. A friend phoned, got answered at 2 minutes past and managed seats for the gallery so I'd imagine a few minutes after that they'd all gone.

Tickets for that date on ebay already.
