Initially worked but now its back ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
It hihgjacks internet explorer and comes up with about blank. Can any one help please.

At the end of the thread it says this :Click Exit. Then reboot the computer, and run AboutBuster one more time. After you run it the second time, run HijackThis again, and post a new logfile to be analyzed to make sure you’re totally clean.

How and where do I find the HIjack this bit I can't find it anywhere.

you might find that it takes a few goes to clear everything from the PC, Windows 98 is easier that XP !!!

worse case I can point you to another forum where you can post a report on your system and someone tells you what else to remove..

but let's see how we get on

I had the dreaded about:blank problem on my Girlfriends Sons PC. I' quite PC literate & tried all sorts to get rid. Running Win 98. Decided to use firefox browser for internet.
Works a treat & blocks popups too.
