Boiler engineer has just left having replaced something! We have hot water - as I type DD1 is running a bath - she hasn't had one since Saturday and priority was given to bathing DD2 (who had to go to school!) I have to admit that the prospect of a hot bath tonight is very appealing......
Feeling very croaky and coughy, but better than last night when I felt rubbish.
Today is DS's 20th - eek - I only have one teenager left now! so apparently it's takewawy pizza for tea (goodness only knows what I'm having - pizza doesn't fit with S/W!):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Mine's just left too but with a warning that new boiler may not be compatible with current system so more work may be needed.
Have to test it all out later to see if hot water will work independently of the Hot water.
Need to concentrate on food now for all at different times and places.
Did well with emails etc but still could do with another half day on it, may do that this week if I can to try to get it finishedThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

So rather than read through the thread after work and picking up the girls from school, I decided to just crack on and get some flying done. This was in between supervising DD2 making the tea. She really has been a good girl tonight. She made a veggie stew with cheese scones - all homemade and all by herself! Not bad considering she's only 9 years old! And she loaded the DW and washed up any extra pots after too...so double brownie points for her.
Anyway, if its deleted its done:

Hmmmm - not looking too bad all things considered. I am however very fearful of whichever day is the master bedroom - there is what seems to be the entire contents of everyones wardrobes on our bedroom floor. Its all clean mind, just needs either putting away or adding to my humongous ironing pile that hasn't been touched for weeks!
Hugs to all and get well soon to anyone poorly - there seems to be quite a few children poorly at the moment - hope everyone's littlies pick up soon.
Chill out time now after a busy day, then early night ready to begin all over again tomorrow!
Before I forget....positive keeping job vibes needed if anyone's got any spare please - SIL finds out tomorrow if she gets to keep her job. She's had to re-apply for it.

Hello Ladies, I'm a bit out of sorts at the moment. My job finished yesterday and I've had a sickness bug today. I think it may be a nervous thing. I don't feel unwell but am very mentally all over the place with worrying about finding alternative employment.
Job getting vibes for your SIL Sunnygirl - perhaps it will rub off on me?
I did an hour's ironing this morning before meeting a friend for lunch. I had to rush back to get the kids and came home in a hurry to aquaint myself with the pottery.
I've given out flyers for a social at mine next Friday to raise money for this years Moonwalk. A couple of friends suggested I have everyone round and ask for money for wine and nibbles. I offer my home for get togethers for the Mums from school and usually get about 20 come so hopefully I should make about £100 quid if they all donate £5. It's much easier than asking for sponsorship. Expect me to be an avid follower of the lists next week!!!!! I am doing well with my training and can do 10 miles quite comfortably,I'm struggling a little bit this week because I wore the wrong trainers last walk and shredded my ankles. Wonderful invention Compeed plasters:)0 -
