Hi Me and my Husband have applied to rent a property who use homelet for there checks....
we both work full time and have held down jobs for years i work for the local council and can get a reference upfront. My husband works for a local company and reference is no problem also. Hubbys credit is 'poor' and mine will be either the same or worse. neither of us have CCJ's or BR,
Im panicking over a credit check with Homelet has anyone had a positive experience with them and i am worrying for nothing...?????
We have a guarantor if we are unable to gain the tenancy alone...:)
Advice needed!

Sounds like you will need your guarantor. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

when we were renting my hubby had a poor rating and mine was average. Had no problem with the homelet reference.0

Thanks for the replies
We have a guarantor thats no problem i was just worried how bad your credit would have to be to for it say you aren't accepted.
hoping its only if you have CCJ's and BR0 -
My tenant passed a Homelet reference. He hasn't paid rent in months, appears to have moved another 4 or five people into the small one bed flat, has caused two leaks, is accused of postal fraud by neighbours and breaks the lease by putting up a satellite disk and hanging washing out the windows.
I therefore don't think they are very thorough.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
hmmmm....well hopefully we will be ok.
I guess every circumstance is different.
Can anyone else share any advice???0 -
It's good that you've got a guarantor if you should need one. The fact you have no CCJs and are both employed is good too. So if you have a good reference from where you live now, preferably where you've paid on time and lived for a long time then you should be hopeful.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Congratulations on being successfully referenced through HomeLet - we hope you're nearly ready to move into your new home! :T
