Agreed, My only exception to this is if i have to open a NPB and they then pay, I'd rather wait and see if/what feedback they leave before i give them a positive(all you can give as a seller)
You'll find that when you leave feedback first (as I do) then hardly any buyers leave it for you. I get about 20% leavuing feedback.

Are you sure they aren't trying to tell you something by not leaving feedback?

I expect to get at least 80% of my buyers leaving feedback, and it is usually neaer 90-95% on ebay.

The only time as a buyer that I don't leave feedback for a seller is if I had a minor niggle and would prefer to leave no feedback than leave a non positive or low stars that I might regret later.

Unfortunately, apart from having our permiited bidder settings tight - there is nothing we can do to prevent scum like that bidding.

But when i have an offer - i always check their feedback left for others - for any signs they are a nasty piece of work.

This morning i got a good offer for an item - so checked their feedback. They had paid 99p for an item from china and £1.47 postage. The item had arrived within 10 days from china. Despite this - feedback left was NEGATIVE, with the message "i don't care how far away you live - i expect my items to arrive within a week". I rejected his offer and now he has bid. Just wondering if to cancel his bid now and block him.

Ebay should remove obvious ones like yours - how can they be unhappy with the price paid - when its an auction. Did someone force them to bid? Same as the idiots on here - who buy an item and THEN complain about the postage.

    .
  • I leave feedback for a buyer once they've paid (and I use it as a marker to myself that I've packed the item). After all, they've then completed their part of the deal.

The vast majority leave feedback once they're happy with their purchase.

I have now left a follow up response on my feedback and his, stating it was an auction that YOU chose to bid on, it had NO reserve and I also stated that face value was clear in the listing.

On his left a DO NOT TRUST...and the reasons.

Luckily others have left me positive feedback for another item the exact same I sold and commented on how quickly item arrived etc....

The guy is an obvious idiot.

Are you registered as a business seller? Sometimes buyers go a bit vigilante if a business seller pretends to be a private seller or they believe someone to be a ticket tout.

Don't you have to have face value entered on the listing? What did you put down for it?

OP says she had listed the face value of the ticket.

In which case, contact CS, if you can point to the FV of the ticket, then you should get the neg removed as unfair.
