It's bonkers isn't it!
I had (foolishly) expected it to be within our budget as a friend of mine who is a teacher and whose husband is an actor (so neither of them on huge incomes!) got married there last summer. What I failed to take into consideration was that their wedding was on a Wednesday...0 -
There are a few discounts in the brochure, but mainly seems if you are booking at short notice.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

That is VERY expensive Daisyegg. Surely there is something similar which costs less?? MxMay GC - £100 per week

Looks lovely. Dont rule it out if your heart is set on it. Book an appointment to discuss price. What is your budget? There may be ways of cutting the cost. 2012 weddings selected dates are 7k for 60 people...still a lot but not as bad!0

Op - you are right to do your homework. Look at their brochure/website and price up your ideal wedding. Then work out a price you are happy with and try to get them to do it for less. Even if you can't get them to budge on price get some 'extras' thrown in if you can.
Best of luck.
