    well its been 3 days now and nobody from amazon has phoned or even emailed me regarding this matter and the status of my order is that i still need to give approval for the price increase

    i suppose i will have to phone them again, will let you know what they say

    they said they were hoping to buy it from the manufacturer cheaper than they were able to so they have had to increase the price now

    they have applied £5 to my account as a gesture of goodwill

    wow. yay. that makes up for it, not.

    ive found amazon a very good company to deal with. always sorted out any problems (very few).

    i said to the woman on the phone that i always thought amazon were a good company with good customer service and that i was very disappointed. i asked if there was any chance of compensation if they weren't going to sell me the item at the price i ordered at, and she said she could give me £5. I said but the price difference is over £30 and she just said sorry thats all i can do :(
