T-Mobiles Poor Quality Service

Two years ago I purchased a HTC Desire which I received from T-Mobile who I have been with since 1998. After receiving good service for a number of years I noticed a decline when they merged with Orange. My troubles began when I noticed that I had no broadband signal and Youtube kept cutting out when using my phone at work. When I contacted T-Mobile I was advised to select a network in my setting this did not solve the problem I was also told that they would do something from there end this also came to nothing. After further calls I was asked to contact the technical team so they could do their test. This required me to complete a broadband speed test. This went on for more that two weeks with lots of missed calls from the technical team one agent diagnosed that the phone was flicking between networks too much with the main issue of not having any broadband when on the orange network. The technical teams conclusion to this was to increase my web and walk to a faster speed that could handle more band width at a cost of a extra £4.50 a month. After the testing the phone there was a slight improvement but this was only temporary.

I then went to my local T-Mobile store and discussed this with the manager who suggested I put the phone in for repair. The phone was sent away for repair and came back after two to three weeks. After using the phone for a few days I realised that the network issue had been solved but I also noticed that when I put the phone down it would automatically skip to settings by itself. When using the video recorder it would exit that mode and jump back to settings. This was very unhelpful as I was trying to record when I was on holiday. Again the phone was put in for repair and after only a couple of days it was returned with a software refresh. The phone seemed to be working ok with no network issues but i noticed something new when typing messages the predictive text would insert an incorrect word and you would have to select the correct word it had suggested when normally you could continue typing. Again the phone was put in for repair for another software reload it came back after a week or so and after using it I noticed it still had the predictive text problem. I went back to my local T-Mobile store who said I should call T-Mobile and tell them I had no confidence in the phone and demand a replacement HTC Desire. When this was arranged with the agent I gave the instructions for the courier delivering my phone to call my mobile when delivering, as the buzzer on my flat did not work. After 6 attempts at delivery with one phone call which I missed they sent the new phone back to T-Mobile. By this time I had run out of patience and had to arrange with the T-Mobile store manager to have the phone delivered to store. This also failed but I eventually I got a call and and swapped the phone for a new one.

I thought that my problems had been solved and was pleased with the new phone until I tried to send a email from yahoo and was unable to see the keyboard when I wanted to type a message. Also there was a line going across the bottom of the screen whenever I used Yahoo.

I now have a 3 months left on the 24 month contract and as you can imaging I’m a bit of cheesed off with the way I have been treated over the past 6 months. I have never received such bad service from any company, especially since being with them for so long. Can anyone suggest the best course of action is from here?
