Help!! Phone unlocking....

Hi all,

Can someone help me?? i had my sharp gx20 unlocked today and when i got it back all the info i had on there was lost!!! all my photos, messages, text templates numbers etc have all gone..is this what usually happens when you unlock vodafone? because everyone i have spoken to thinks this is strange?

Anyone know wats goin on??

how did you get it unlocked, at a shop or something, could it be whoever did the unlock also flashed it with a new version of software as part of their 'service' and this has wiped everything stored on the phone?

As far as i know it was a local shop and they didnt put anything on there that i can see. i feel like killing them.

i know on the free s/w you need to put the master reset code in at the end of the unlocking procedure so this will prob have got rid of everything.
they should have told you this though.
other unlockers can do it without removing the data.
also maybe on these it needed to be reflashed to remove the voda live stuff?
