  • We can hear you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that it's a standard feature, but that does not mean you should assume it will be offered. It doesn't matter if you need it; if you didn't have it in your contract, that is technically your mistake.

I don't say this to necessarily support E Choice, but to point out that you have a responsibility to make yourself aware of what you are buying.

I didnt know anything about this company until after I renewed my car insurance today.. I used a comparison website and RSAeChoice had what looked like a good deal compared to my renewal quote... So I decided to go with them and did it all online and paid in Full £210... It was only when I looked at theyre twitter feed and saw all the issues and problems people have been having with this company, that I suddenly realised I have made a big mistake.... I cannot log on to their website to either cancel this policy or download any documents. They appear not to have a contact number so you can speak to a real person. Yes there is an 0845 number but you get a recorded message saying ''If you want to do this, this, this, and this, you can do it online.... If you want to make a claim, Press 2....'' So you can only speak to someone if you want to make a claim ?? Crazy !! I cant actually log on at the moment so Im stuffed. All I want is to cancel this policy before it starts on Dec12th 2012 and get my money refunded without having to pay the cancellation fee..... Yes its only £25 within 14 days, but why should I pay a cancellation fee if (a) I cant actually log on, and (b) the insurance doesnt start till December
If I cancel within 14 days I get a refund with (or without) cancellation fee deducted, is this right ??
If I cant get through to them tomorrow somehow, is it possible to block a payment from a Visa card by going to my bank, a bit like stopping a cheque payment ) ..... I wish now that I had just gone with my present insurers renewal which is only £29 more than this rubbish.....

I have been driving 30 years and Ive never been in this mess before but Im hoping I can get it cancelled and get my money back but at the end of the day I clicked to accept their T&C's so if they bang the cancellation fee on but I get the rest refunded then so be it.....
I am not working at the moment and living on savings/company pension so i cant afford to lose £210 just before Christmas

Fingers crossed I get a result tomorrow...:(
  • I arranged a new car policy online on Saturday evening (Dec 1st). Website was dodgy on Google Chrome but OK on Internet Explorer. I got all the details in inc deposit and direct debit. No e-mail confirmation (which i would have expected after seconds) and attempt to log-in met with message about technical difficulities.

Today, Tuesday (3rd), I still couldn't log-in but got phone number 0844 854 8855. Had read a few threads by now and rather beginning to wish I hadn't made the application. Still, called, had the inevitable Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 then pressed 5 and got an immediate answer.

Advisor asked for name, car, address details, browser, how much the despoit was etc and then went away for about 3 mins. Came back to comfirm that car is definitely covered from renewal date (and she confirmed for me, and it was correct) and I got a reference number and a promise of a policy no. and certificate before the renewal date (12th Dec).

Now if all that happens then that will be fine and I will be a satisfied customer. It was a decent price done through MSE comparison site. I'll let everyone know whether the reality and the promise are the same.

I took out car insurance just before Christmas. Since then, I have not managed to get onto RSAechoice's website to download my policy documents - I have changed my password twice but each time, this message keeps appearing: "Our site appears to be having a few problems, but don't worry - we're working hard to fix it. Please try again soon." I managed to get through on an 0844 number at the end of February and the guy I spoke to said that according to the Post Office, my documents had been delivered before the end of December but that they would send them again. I am still waiting and still can't get onto the website. I would advise anyone considering buying car insurance from this company not to do so.
