Orange help
I had an Orange talkplan YP200 which came with an extra 100 mins when I bought it online. I also had a student package which entitled me to 1000 free texts.
I recently took out a talkshare with the contract, which I bought from One Stop Phone Shop. When my next bill came, I noticed my 100 extra mins had disappeared. I phoned up Orange, and apparently One Stop Phone Shop did this, and were meant to call me back to tell me of the change, which they didn’t. I called them up and they denied making any changes to my account. After about 2 weeks I finally received the talkshare phone, and Orange kindly gave me £15 airtime cashback because of the problems that occurred. However, I then noticed that my Student talk plan had also been removed. At the time of getting the talkshare with Orange they repeatedly told me that this would not be removed, and I could keep the student talk plan.
What really annoys me is that I’ve sent about 500 texts so far (about £50) which I will be billed for. I phoned up Orange and the guy said he would phone me back on Wednesday with more information. He has promised that the extra money spent will be credited to my account, but if I had known that the student package would have been removed I would not of taken the talkshare out. The 1000 free texts is worth about £100 a month, so I don’t want to lose it.
Is there anything I can do? Is it fair to threaten to cancel my contract as I wasn’t advised of the change?:
If it were fair grounds I wouldn't mind cancelling the contract (which is about 4-5 months old) as obviously it would be financially beneficial, so don’t mind going through with it.
Might be worth pointing out that the talkshare won’t officially be put onto my account until the next billing date, so all these changes were taken a month too early.
Any ideas of what I could do?

15 changes to your Contract
we reserve the right to make changes to your Contract
15.1 When you Register you are asked to choose a Service Plan and to indicate which Orange Additional Services you require. You may switch to a higher Service Plan at any time. You may switch to a lower Service Plan as often as you like after 6 months following your Connection to the Network. In the event you do switch Service Plan and add to or cancel Orange Additional Services you must give us not less than 10 days notice before your Billing Date (subject to the terms of any promotional offers you have accepted). We do, however, reserve the right to vary the terms of this Contract from time to time and to make changes to your Service Plan. We acknowledge that if we do increase the Charges, withdraw Orange Additional Services or introduce new mandatory Charges - or if your contractual rights are affected to your detriment - you may terminate your Contract in accordance with Condition 4.3. If you do not give notice within one month of our notifying you of any change(s), you will be taken to have accepted the change(s).
