Lets send a message to the dimwits who are determined to destroy this forum by posting referrer and impossible offers. They're getting worse and helping no one. So sign up and register your displeasure!!!

Another forum I use which uses vBulletin has the ability for HTML links to be disabled until they reach at least 15 posts (as in they physically cannot post them). This was in response to spammers registering and also spamming up the place.

Can I offer this suggestion to the mods/techs.

It's a real pain though. Seems to have gone mad here this morning - I have seen 10 posts on this forum alone. :mad:

Most are a spambots that just registers leaves the messages then moves on the the next forum...

Here here, it's getting worse, we need action from governments to prevent these websites the spammers send you to from being hosted. All lead to a dodgy scheme of some sort whether pyramid selling or whatever. I hope their harddrives rust.

great idea it's pity we can't name and shame the people who list them but they would probably just rejoin with a different user name.

cant the MSE mods and advisers ban there IP's? I know you can change them but anything to make it less convenient for them to keep signing up and detering them!!!

There sad pillocks with no lives, and they'll always get a barrage of abuse from me whenever signing up.

The reason i started this thread on the freebies board is because thats where the problem lies. With due defference to other users i suggest that many only use a few boards, such as the freebie one and may not explore the quieter corners of the site.
