I would have thought you'd be ripping it out before a service was required0 -

Welcome to the forum!
If you look on Calor's website and go to CalorForce you will eventually get to Calor Serve (here).
On the other hand there are lots of posts on MSE that the boiler service schemes for mains gas are NOT very good value and you'd do far better finding a Gas Safe engineer who does LPG. I imagine the same could be true for LPG!
You might like to post the make and model of your boiler and see if anyone posts comments. The newer ones are more efficient - but don't last as long as the old ones (so long as you have a good make! Mine is a Vaillant installed in 1991 and serviced as required by a friend - Gas Safe registered - who replaces components as necessary, which is rarely!).
Lots of posts about all sorts of stuff on the main Bulk LPG ... thread (here) - which is a 'sticky' (i.e. it always sticks around at/near the top of the 'The LPG, Heating Oil ....Board'). Please post info about your supplier, usage, prices, whether you are in/out of contract, etc to help all the rest of us in the LPG minefield!

That WAS hidden away - not easy to find going in from their home page. I am a Calor customer and all I can say is that they don't seem to be actively selling this service...
...and a very good thing it was hidden away - from potential customers' point of view (see my other comments!).
But if you're willingly contributing to Calor's bottom line you'd think they would want you to be even more generous!
Seriously, though, maybe you'd post comments about Calor - service, prices, etc on the Bulk LPG... thread, please?0 -

I have a Worcester boiler, phone them up and have a service contract, about £15 a month including a service. Note this is not 24 hour cover, but 6 day a week, reason I did not go with other is they will come out and tell you need to order parts.
The Worcester engineer will come out to my boiler and he has many of the parts and can get other a lot quicker. My thinking could end up with a quicker fix.

Thanks for all your comments, it's a Sime boiler, a make I'd never heard of. I've found British Gas and N Power do cover for LPG boilers @£19 and £15 respectively but the British Gas one covers electrical emergencies and plumbing and drainage and has a £50 excess per repair, not per call out. N Power is £15 with no call out fees for boiler and system or £13 for same with £50 fixed call out fee. I hope this information helps anyone else looking for cover :j

Sime is a brand that few RGI's have heard of. I have one, but mine is gas, not LPG. You need to find an independent who has some experience of them.
You don't need an annual maintenance contract, you need an annual service and a reliable local RGI. BG or Homeserve will just send you a different RGI each time.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
