Definitely seconding this, it sounds like you're struggling with your outgoings and sorting out your debts and avoiding future will be much easier if you can work out how to cut your expenditure.0 -
Lol i was waiting for the day a newbie says " I took out a loan with wonga.com to help with a holiday me and my partner were going on ". Yeh a loan from a PDL wasn.t the best decision but whats done is done.0

Well glad i could put an end to your wait!
Thankyou for taking the time to reply to this, however unhelpful and pointless the reply in question may be.
Perhaps you would like to read further up the thread for details of why i took the loan out in the first place as you seem to have the wrong end of the stick. I paid for my holiday with my own hard-earned money.
if you have nothing to say other than that which is judgemental, maybe you should not reply, however i understand that some take pleasure, or at the very least 'LOL' at others misfortune.
Everyone else, thankyou very much your your advise, it means alot as i have never been in this situation before and have allways paid everything on time, even after the separation i have gone without food and walked over an hr to work in order to pay debts on time. I will follow all advise given and hopefully sort this whole mess out, thankyou for taking the time to offer any help you can, appreciate it

You said the loan was taken out to pay for the holiday but you repaid it once you got back.
I wasn't being judgemental at all, if i was going to be judgemental id say so but i wont go that far. Just trying to fathom why takeout a loan for a holiday (yes you repaid it once you got back).
Its an open forum so anyone can post, its pretty much like in real life you can control what replies you get.
Where did i say i LOL at others misfortune, i try and understand why or how they get into financial difficulties. I even know people who are on the edge financially eg 1 was working part time yet has monthly rent of £200 plus bills plus car ins, tax but his wages dont cover it and someone else who's salary covers the house rent and bills but doesnt leave himself much room for spending money/ anything unexpected.0 -
Maybe change your bank account to another bank too if not already mentioned, oh and you get your wages paid into it0

You put 'lol' at the beginning of your initial post, as quoted in my initial response.
I would like to let you know that i am not suggesting that the fact i repaid it on return means anything, obviously i did in order for it to snowball, i was pointing out that in one of my posts earlier i clarified that the wonga loan was not taken out to pay for my holiday, days before our departure, my spening money for the self catering holiday was fraudulantly removed from my account as my card had been copied. This meant i had no money to spend on holiday, as i was due to be paid days after our return, i took out a wonga loan. Had my partner not left home (and left me with unpaid debts) i would have immediately repaid and never gone near the awful site again, however he did leave, and on repaying the loan amount initially taken, i had to immediately take out a subsequent loan to enable me to pay my rent. As mentioned above, my outgoings exceeded incomings, meaning i could not afford to go a month without a pdl.
Yes, everyone is free to comment, but personally, i have read some stories where i may think, 'that was a bit silly' but personally, i would not comment, as people in dire debt really do not need to hear it. Your views are your views, but i requested advise from people who have a better understanding than me.0 -
Thankyou Errata, i contacted cccs yesterday who are sending me out a debt management pack, hopefully they will be able to negotiate something affordable, if not, im back to square one

My concern is if they will make me include all debts in the dmp, i really do not want to as i have managed to stay on top of everything apart from the pdls , not really sure how that works....0 -

Well surely if the form wants details of all debts then thats what you include(see what the pack says).
I think they take into acount what your income is and what debts you have and make repayments affordable.
OP maybe my earlier comment was uncalled for but you haven't seen half the reasons we see on here for loans.0
