    I've been Money Tipped!
    Guess what?

Bad news on the heating front......it's not going on this week either. Or rather it might be in the 'new' bit, but not the old bit.

The houses are needed where the work is so, basically, in the SE.

There's a fair bit of development being done (or planned for) in Devon already.
    Cranbrook near Exeter
There are also plans for an Eco area in Barnstaple. I can't say I think this sort of Eco fits the visually appealling bill. :rotfl:

Apparently only 9% of the country is actually built on? At least I think that was what I heard as I surfaced to Radio 4 this morning ;)

Last week an owl, this week an emu.

Oh & the other strange & worrying sight was Claire Balding on a bike but that was a couple of years back although I see it's being shown again on BBC4 this evening.

How does it go? An everyday story of country folk :rotfl:

pitty I am giving it straight to my parents to go towards the money I borrowed from them to help pay for the ranch...but it does start taking the stress off a bit, as I wanted to pay them back by now...

right better get some work done

edit... also got the ball rolling for a ppi on a loan, which my bank manager recommended i do....lol...
    Well done, CTC.

I've got bits of money coming, which I have to chase to receive. I never seem to have the time. I hate it when you have to chase corporations for money they owe you.
  • Don't know what the caravan/injury was about, CTC, but congrats on getting it sorted

They do know you are living on-site and watching over it? Seems a huge amount.

    Have you tried NFU Mutual?

I agree phone your local nfu, I can give you the number if you want.

I think it was Davesnave who mentioned it to me.

Its called a 'lifestyle' policy, so basically you have public liability for you land too

    ITSME

we had our van and caravan written off in August when we went to the Bulldog Bash...

we had a mini well and truely stuck up the back end of the caravan.... personal injury seems to be automatic now.. but I did have to go to the doctors after coming back from the bulldog to get pain killers etc ( Alcahol had worn off by then:D) had a very badly bruised boobie and a sore shoulder
Work to live= not live to work
  • Ouch :( Doubly glad it's sorted then.

It's crazy, isn't it. It seems the problem is the "one size fits all" type of unoccupied buildings insurance. In addition to this, we're paying to insure the static at around £250!

I'll try the NFU but I've been on the phone for hours to day and have struggled to get a quote lower than my current insurers renewal quote (I've beat it by a tenner, but the cancellation fee's more!)
