I have just had a quote ( £4000 ) from Homebase for a new kitchen and another £3800 to fit. I only used them to get the layouts etc. I already have three independant fitters/suppliers lined up so I can show them the plans and go from there. The kitchen at Homebase we like but there is no way we are paying nearly £4000 for fitting, hopefully an independant can fit it for about £1500 or less.
