Being harassed by Virgin Media. Any advice?

So, I keep getting calls to my mobile from 2 numbers 0800 408 9340 and 020 7059 4000 and it's some Indian person claiming to be from Virgin Media and asking to speak to me. I think this is a scam. I am a Virgin customer, but even if this isn't a scam, I'm not interested in anything they're trying to sell me as I'll be leaving the flat I live in in 6 months time anyway, so I'm definitely not interested in a new contract. The calls were initially a one off, then increased to about 2 or 3 a week, now over the past few days it's been every day and I'm getting fed up. How can I make them stop calling me and/or report them? Thanks.

It is a scam - I have had this before and get calls claiming to be from either T Mobile or from Virgin Media. I would report them to Ofcom and possibly to Virgin themselves - I have, in the past reported such calls to Virgin and thankfully I haven't had such a call for quite a while now. I also registered my phone on the telephone preference service.

You can legitimately be called by VM - dit you opt out of marketing calls? Or ever give them your mobile number? Just wait until you owe them money.
