  • Hi all, I had my OR interview by phone last week. It lasted about 25 minutes. She said she was happy for me to continue to use my bank acc (coop cashminder). She also said that she would be making some recommendations do not know what though. She also told me that if I got a job I was to notify her when I asked her what to do next. She said I needed to do nothing further and await them to contact me.

I have no paid work at the moment as I am a student, but will do soon as I qualify. I asked her about the house, it is in negative equity to the tune of around 10,000 pounds, which is about 1/9th of it's current value. She said that it was unlikely I would loose my home and that she would reconsider this in 2years and 3 months.

I am not sure what I need to do next. I know I am to wait for them to contact me, but regrding my finances, do I notify the companies im BR or will my financial advisor do this for me?

When should I check my credit file to check every thing is in order and when do I begin the long process of cleaning up my credit file? What do I apply for etc. I read I can not apply for any credit more that 500 pounds, is this correct and for how long?

I do not want debt, but I want to be clear on the do's and don'ts. Overall the interview was not too bad, I was nervous though. She was very professional and was only friendly at the end of the interview. I am still getting messages on my phone from debt agencies, that are very aggressive sounding, when will they stop it so I can start to answer my phone again? I am having calls from prospective employers and do not want to miss any opportunities.

To any one going through this, stick with us on the forum. I could not have gotten through it without loosing more of myself these last few months, without all the kind people who suuport and inform us here. Thanks again guys, best wishes from Roses.
