Hello - can I join too please? Just got back from court and am awaiting the OR call. My business went under in January and I have the OR interview for that tomorrow - hopefully not all weeks will be this interesting from now on!

Hi and welcome to the forum:) Your savings account should be fine.
If you get a job then you have to tell the OR within 21 days as your circumstances have changed, it will not affect your BR in anyway but there is the possibility of an IPA if you have any surplus income above £20.

Hi everyone, welcome to the March 2012
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during March 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.

Hello,
Can I join you? My DH and I went BR on tuesday this week after putting it off for nearly 2 years. Had an initial brief call from OR's office on tues evening, where I was told that all but our joint co-op account will be closed (had another joint and 1 sole cashminder account), and that if our income ever exceeded what we put on our form, then the co-op would automatically notify the OR!
Having received the forms today, it clearly says that I can apply for bank accounts, so it seems really stupid, that our individual cashminder accounts will be closed by the OR, only for us to be able to open some new ones?
We have our official interview on tuesday (gulp!) so will ask the question again about our bank accounts.
I still can't quite believe I am finally writing on this thread:o
