    Yes, about 70p, but as I said, it will not be running full tilt all the time it is on, because it modulates.
    Your consumption is still way above what would reasonably be expected given what you have described, which is why I still suspect is that the meter is faulty-we've covered every other possibility.
    Unless the insulation is non-existent.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I have now changed the timer so it doesnt come on at all during 10am and 3pm and will see if that makes much difference. Dont see how it will though as it doesnt generally come on during that time anyway which is why im sitting cold.

    I suspect insulation might be a factor but I cant get into the loft as I dont have a ladder. Ill see if hubby can look in when he gets home, he may be able to see by standing on a chair.
