    Hi all

Well done DNMS - hope you can keep up the not smoking..

Redsam..yuck - horrid. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi everyone else and all the newcomers too! This is my 700th post on MSE so I am beginning to feel less of a newbie:rotfl:

Today has been a good day:

    - Its been a NSD so far for OH and me!! Yay!! (Ebay listing fees don't count!)
    - we have spent the day at home decluttering, recycling and I have just listed 9 items on EBay..one watcher on a rather nice handbag (if I say so myself) within 5 mins of listing..
    - OH has just found that a game he has is on EBay in similar condition is on for a Buy It Now price of $350 (US). Wow...he is going to watch it and then list asap. Am flabbergasted that we own this stuff which I was just going to throw away last year. He has also gone largely digital and is selling more CDs on Amazon.
    - 5 bags of paper and stuff for tip/recycling. All from one small room! Its mad!
    - checked banking and made a PAD to each CC
    - charged all phones and devices on train yesterday eve and at work
    - tried to do the tax return online activation but locked out as failed to activate within the 28 day period..oh well. have applied for a new one. Still have some days to do it and in all the tidying up found some more paperwork that i will probably need so all for the best!
    - dinner for OH and DDs from stores. Me..I am going out to Book Club so will eat with those guys but havent read the book..a waste of £5.17 :o Didnt even get to page 1. Shocking.

Thats it I think guys and gals. Hope everyone has a good eve

PS Redsam..that is horrendous re the rats. maybe thats why our 4 haven't laid any eggs in ages (unlikely..they are just lazy!) there are lots of cats in our area, maybe that helps keep them away? Although most rats are probably a good match for most townie cats!!

  • Hi all
Just sneaking on with a quick hello... sorry I've been awol. I had a job interview - didn't get the job unfortunately but am more grateful for what I do have in my job already, so perhaps looking elsewhere was enough for me to realise that I'm ok where I am.
Anyway, 2 days of solid prep and then interview mean that everything else has gone to pot. I desperately need to get back on the wagon with food and mse.
    I've
    checked banks
    brought packed lunch to work
arranged OH to sort dinner tonight (so if it's takeaway he pays)
    charged phone at work

I've been awake since 3am, stressing about stuff so my brain isn't in gear at the moment. Just didn't want to be away from here longer than I had to.

Have one bid on something and watchers on 3 bids so a happy bunny..off to try and finally tidy up the debris from the decluttering..it always gets worse before it gets better doesnt it:D

OH is listing CDs at this very moment...woo hoo

  • Evening all!

I've been interviewing today so was camped out in a lovely spa hotel - included a lovely lunch and free flowing sweeties and muffins (not to mention the bagful of free pens I liberated ;) )

Also on the MSE front today:

    - LSD (just DS' lunch money so far but off to Mr M's in a bit for basics too)
    - washing on airers
    - surveys, clicks and bingo
    - tea from stores

that's about it I think. have a great evening all! x

    Evening all!!

Today has been a cupcake day! DD has her party on saturday and a cake sale for her class tomorrow. 24 Cupcakes for school, 7 for her party and then 5 cake for home :D

I have literally spent all day on them with the exception of the 2 hours i looked after my 11 month old Nephew. All done now though

Slightly annoyed that i went to Coop today and half way home realise they had given me 20 euro cents in place of a £1!!:mad::mad:

    My day

Kids at swimming - wash hair there!
    Look after nephew
    Housework
    Check declutter areas
    Inventory
    Surveys
LSD - just stork for cakes
Put change from my purse in copper jar
Dinner of fajitas as we have a fajita kit in the bupcoard and a pepper and mushrooms to use up. OH to pick up some chicken after work - reduced hopefully!
Have a relaxing bath with a book

    That all

Red - i hope you are feeling better soon! xx
