4G interference

I was reading this article and http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17125468 says that people close to 4G masts will need a box and those really close may not even be able to have any kind of digital signal.
What kind of range are we talking about? I have 3 macro sites near me (Vodafone, O2 and Orange) in Norwich (So will probably be upgraded to 4G) and they are only about 50 metres away from me. Could this affect me at all? What kind of range are they actually talking about?

The overlap is actually very small.

GSM-850 overlaps with channels 65 to 69.
At http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/postcodechecker/ tick the box that you're in the aerial installation trade, and you can see which channels your televisison transmitter uses. Very few transmitters use 65 to 69.0 -
Not everyone would be affected, only if the multiplex is close to the range of the local site. That said, OFCOM has said the full cost of restoration of freeview has to be met by the (mobile) licence holders. IT's a bit like the Channel 4 unenviable task when they started ,of retuning everyone's VCR off the frequency they were now using to transmit in certain areas - nothing new under the sun!0

I saw yesterday that compensation could be up to 10k0
