    1) So, do you suggest me to check Irish websites?

If you so desire to answer my query, then yes. Is there a point to this?

I though that this post was going to be informative, unfortunately its just full of a loser's comments who has nothing to do, voiceing their useless opinion. Go get a life Grumbler.
Yorky1 your question is valid and is of interest to other people. Ignore the loser.

The OP's vocabulary suggested that he was from North America and not his stated location of Ireland; hence Grumbler questioned this. This was a valid observation and relevant in a forum titled "Mobile Phones".

So for grumbler to be asking these questions I presume he knows a bit about dual phones and can supply us with this information.

He already has done; see above. What more do you expect from him?

all he has done is refer elsewhere. Not any use really. And the site he has referred to does not compare dual sim phones as a feature.

    ...Ignore the loser.
Although this advice was not addressed to me, I really should have followed it, but I cannot resist...
all he has done is refer elsewhere.
What's wrong with referring 'elsewhere' where the information was available? Should I have quoted instead to save you time and effort on clicking the links? Was this 'elsewhere' obvious for everyone or didn't deserve to be referred to?
Not any use really. And the site he has referred to does not compare dual sim phones as a feature.
    Which one?
    • I did refer to gsmarena that did compare, but I made it clear that the most dual-sim phones it shown were not available in UK. And not only did I refer to gsmarena, but I referred to the page showing filtered dual-sim phones. If you spent a few seconds on reading between posting you could have noticed that many names of the phones on that page included 'duos', 'dual', 'duplex' etc.
    • I also referred to omio as a site that shown the variety of the phones available in UK, but I made it clear that it didn't filter dual-sim phones.
And the location of the OP that he failed to mention was essential for this thread because of the very same fact that despite the big variety of dual-sim phones very few were easily available in UK.

I had an email from www.mobilefun.co.uk last week listing quite a few dual sim phones, not sure how many are Android though.

I think the use of cellphone has become quite common, anyone under 30 has probably seen it on TV their whole lives, it's slotted itself in as alternative word to mobile.

I didn't even know you could have a dual-sim phone, interesting thread. I can't help, but I'm glad I stopped to read it, I was thinking about our spare contract (we had one each then bought another to get a better phone) we could maybe use the data allowance on that one too if we could do this - but it would mean buying yet another phone so maybe not :)
