    Well, that's something I've learnt! Although I will still stick with the garage I found, but I'll bear that in mind :)

    And? That means nothing. I fail to see the point you're making. Millions and millions of people take cars to MOT stations that do repair work and they pass without issue.

    I've been taking mine to test stations that do repairs for over two decades. The ones that have failed have rightly failed.

    many mot stations only exist to skank people
    nothing more nothing less
    why do you think vosa made pitted discs an advisory last year?
  • For reference- go to an MOT center near you opposed to a garage, they wont scout for work and often let you off with little things like bulbs etc.

    As theyre not a garage it cost sthem more to retest than pass and get no gain in failing your car.
