My elderly neighbour is also causing issues, she wrote to the council (we are both council tenants) she doesn't like me because i am not elderly and in her view not disabled (i have ms hidden disability etc etc etc)
she complained about the parking space in my garden that it was her's because she said a housing officer told her so, housing officer denied this.
Then last week i get a letter about breach of tenancy... diy noise.
this was actually less than 5 mins of drilling, followed by her banging on the wall..
spoke to the council and they said excessive drilling is a nuisance as far as they are concerned but can see that mine wasn't, and her banging on the wall also breaches the tenancy.
they have her down now as someone who will moan about anything about me just because she doesn't like me, and that the council saw evidence of her dog pooping on my lawn, she didn't like getting told off for that.
Dont get me started on the car parking too!
She has a driveway running paralel to her brothers her brother parks his car in his garage at the top of the driveway. She doesnt own a vehicle. Being on the opposite side we obviously share a driveway with the other neighbours on our right.
Carers always park right outside our front window in the narrowest part of the road of our close, causing a bottleneck and an accident waiting to happen. Usualy only cars so dont block the light just making a boring view in an otherwise clear road. Any larger vehicles like service men or deliveries also park outside our house which do block the light.
Im not on about Ambulances and Dr cars as I can accept that.
Its just so annoying that they have to park outside our window when she has an empty driveway and they could park outside her or her brothers window. Parking outside ours is an accident waiting to happen the way the regulars speed round the corner to the dead end at the top of the road. We wish we could put a NO PARKING sign up infront of the window but as its a public road people have a right to park anywhere.
Sounded as if there was a party going on in there first thing this morning. - grrr when it should have been zzzzz
Thanks
