Break at Home - Ideas please?

I know it's a bit sad but one of my favourite things to do during breaks at home is to have 'christmas in summer'. It starts in the morning with a little stocking of gifts each (just token gifts, we spend around £5 each). Then we have bucks fizz and muffins in bed. Make a big roast dinner and then play scrabble or some other boardgame or sometimes watch a christmassy DVD. The rules are that phones are switched off, no 'nipping out to the shop', no regular tv and no internet.
Mind you, I love christmas, I would do this every weekend if I could get away with it!0 -
Hi Paulie'sGirl,
As your thread has now dropped down the Old Style board I've moved it over to the MoneySaving in Marriages, Relationships & Families board to see if you can get some more suggestions.
Have a lovely holiday!
