How many competitions do you enter?

Hello, I enter between 70 to 100 a day.
Started at the end of July.
Have already won two prizes:j

Hi Forum,

Pretty new to the whole competitioning and was wondering how many competitions you all enter daily?

I enter on average about 40 - 60 daily.. is this enough to have a good chance of winning at some point?

It's just a numbers game in the end but each comp is a new start.

I'd say just enter at the pace that you feel ok with & be happy at that.

When I first started in 2008 I entered about 100 per week but won a NY holiday & lots more.

I haven't entered many at all lately, except for twitter and have had a few smaller wins from those.

If you enter 20 - 40 per day and they are all big prizes, like the ITV competitions, then you are unlikely to have many (if any) wins. If you enter 20 - 40 per day and the prizes are for example win one of 200 mascara's, then you are more likely to win something. I would suggest that in order to keep you motivated, you enter a mixture of comps for bigger prizes and those for smaller prizes that have less entries.

think i average around roughly 100/200 a day now
that's including all the dailies i want to enter,
though it's hard to keep check realy,
as the figures change because there's also on the weekday weeklies/monthly puzzler threads which will add more on the day/s you're entering, postal/text comps vary daily as some are posted some days & then loads of them the next day :eek:
i enter for lots of small prizes for friends/family & of course the big ones
my advice for what it's worth
just enter how many you feel comfortable with & for which prize/s you may wish to win,

I do a daily set, so around 15-25 depending on ones I want to enter, then twitter via my mobile - which can be anywhere from 10-80 and then MSE on the evenings, which can range from 20-80 depending on how much time I get, sometimes more sometimes less.

On days where I am studying though its just dailies and twitter, with the rare comp I spot elsewhere. I aim for one win a month, and have always had that. Even a money off token or freebie is worth it.

OOh I forgot to mention, because I think it is important. I swap all my supermarket regulars to alternatives if a competition is running on the package, This way we get a variety of products and I like the feel of physically holding an entry. Entering that unique code etc..

I enter around 75 -100 a day and have had quite a few wins, then again my Daughter and her friend only enter holiday comps, about 5 or 6 a week and have won a trip to Memphis a trip to Grenada and a cruise to New York. Every comp is a one off, so entering 1,000 a day just gives you the same chance in each comp as if you entered 10 a day, if that makes sense.

I enter around 20 dailies a day and then another 50-100 that end in 2 days from that day. Then I also enter whatever I see on Twitter/Facebook. On days when I have spare time I go through and enter (or do extra entries) to the blog comps in the Daily thread and also do some entries to the Mag comps in there too.

I enter about 30 dailies a day and then another 30-100 a day depends on what time I have to do them in. Today Im fairly busy so wont enter many at all.

I enter for anything that I think I will use or could give away to family or friends. There are more comps I dont enter than those I do.
