Virgin media hub, should I have one installed?

It is the hub not the superhub but I think its because I'm only on up to 10mb broadband, its much faster anyway and he changed the connections in the box outside as they where the old NTL's.
I would have preffered a superhub but I hope if there becomes a problem they may swap it but I doubt it for a long time now. It did say somewhere that they give the superhub to faster broadband 20mb and up but in July mine is due to get the double upgrade making me 20mb will this still work as good as it can with the basic hub?Thanx
