My First win was when i was about 14, i won £15 for a poem i wrote in 'Photo Love' magazine, My first adult win was a Years supply of Peaudouce nappies from a tie breaker, My first MSE win was a Vtech childs camera, with Halo & Horns baby Products... My first win, was with my local paper. I won a £250 shopping spree, in Quiz. It'sa clothes shop.

I started comping in jan, as i broke my foot and in plaster...i won a night away in jan..a week later a VIP celeb Big Brother night with hotel...im addicted now, but due back to work soon!!!

I (well my parents) won a few competitions in our local paper when I was younger, football, wrestling, ice hockey tickets. I loved them all! The success rate must have been pretty high because don't think we entered that many!
I've just started comping a week or two ago having been inspired by the stories of wins on here. I'm probably only averaging about 10-20 per day at the moment and usually only entering the biggies so don't know about my chances but it's cool reading that some of you have won amazing stuff with your first entries! Tbh I think I need to win something, no matter how tiny in the first few months or I may lose interest!

I used to comp in the mid 80s when it was postal entries only & my first win was a vacuum cleaner, I won a few prizes a month but I had to give up as I was working 2 jobs, 16 hours days & weekends too. I started comping again in 2010 as I was pensioned off due to ill health & disability in 2004 & completely housebound for 3 years after that & life was very boring being stuck in the house 24/7. When I started being able to move about the house I decided I needed something to occupy my time which I could do as & when I felt up to it so I got a laptop & started searching for comps online. My first win was £500 with Take a Break & then I discovered the wonderful world of MSE thanks to a friend of a friend & the wins started flooding in & I haven't looked back since. MSE is a way of life for me now & I've made some lovely friends because of it so my lonely days aren't lonely any more.

Nothing so far this year except a little sachet of Maple Syrup which I am sure will be very nice for the kids tonight while I am out seeing Sarah Millican!!!!!!

In the past I have won a mascara, a box with a few bags of crisps in and the best was a carrier bag size of treats which were oat cake things but very tasty.

I have not entered that many comps in the past but am hooked this year with MSE!

My first win on MSE was a triple play DVD of Chronicles of Narnia. I never did get the prize but the people who took over the company sent me a Tooth Fairy DVD and a set of small balls instead !
