What was your first win?

My first win was a pinbadge when I was five from Nintendo magazine, my brother was annoyed as he also sent off his prize form and didn't win one, the next win I can remember was when I was ten I won a crayola art pack. I had to create a treasure map ad I made a huge A3 one with lots of bits and bobs stuck on. Can't remember if I won the first prize or not but I was chuffed.

My first win in life was a whole £1 for submitting a joke to Buster comic when I was 11 years old. I thought I was rich!

On this forum my first win was a box of Thornton's chocolates last year on Valentine's day, and since then I have been hooked!

My first win was a night away in London - 4* hotel, theatre tickets, train travel, a meal for 2 & £150 spending money - a fantastic win that got me hooked!

I used to enter all the callin comps on Capital FM .. can't remember now if a PC or a double trip to Florida was my first

mine was some years ago now,don't laugh ,it was a luggage strap to fit around a suitcase with your name on it,only they had spelt my name wrong. It took 18 months to win this
But for all those that are new to comping keep going, as some years later i won a £5,000 fitted kitchen.

my first ever comp entry
& i actually won aBilly Connely LP i was runner up in The Sun World Cup comp 1978
main prize was a trip to it, poss in Argentina?

i didnt know even know about comping..just saw it in a friend newspaper & entered through boredom
i wouldnt even have gone
6 wks later in comes an LP compliments of the Sun???
gave it to my neighbourrs who were fans of BC
I hadnt a scooby what it was for...then i remembered & thought eh? if Im that close to winning
i will give this another try

Years ago I used to go to a bingo hall with my Mom & her friends, I won a set of little coloured glasses on a tray which I gave my sister as an engagement present - I must've been about 9.

Then when I started comping on here my first win was a scented candle set, which was just 2 candles in little pots. - I wan't impressed.

my 1st win on mse was(is) a years supply of wine. will get my last case this august. have won a couple of small other prizes but nothing this yr yet.

My very,very first win was when I was about 12 and I won a signed 7" single called "Kenny D - The Pride Of Liverpool" it was a tribute song for Kenny Dalglish and it was signed by him and Peter Howitt (Joey from Bread) I still have it too :j It was from a competition that was in a teen mag called Fast Forward.
My first MSE win was the Heinz competition from about 2008 where you had to type codes into the website - loads of people put them on here. I won a Sony camcorder.
That win was the reason I signed up to this forum, to say thankyou to the people who shared the codes.
