Edit 2 (sorry) Why would a Tesco employee tell me on the phone that the company has no email facility, but uses an internal system?

Was going well ordering wine then it won't let me go past 4th of March, when I first started the order it did

when i checked, both my orders are showing £5 delivery.
i've rung them & explained delivery should be free; Andrea from tescos has just rung me back to say she's been unable to resolve the problem, she's finishing for the day now & will ring me back tomorrow to let me know what's happened.
i'll let you know what she says.

You might like to know that Trading Standards in Cornwall have successfully prosecuted Tesco regarding this offer.

Tesco claimed in store that it was cheaper to buy a half case (6 bottles) instead of 6 separate bottles. Trading standards prosecuted and fined them £4600.

Just saying check the prices before ordering 6 bottles, 6 different should be cheaper but 6 the same may be priced as a half case.

Just spoke to Tesco, guy told me there was an error with the free delivery, they'd set it up for grocery's and wine by mistake... It should have only been for wine!!
The only way they could rectify the mistake was to cancel both and then reinstate the wine.
He said it should be back on about 5.00ish tonight!!

Under the offer it's possible to buy a bottle of Hock for £1.51. Of that, 22p will be VAT leaving £1.29. Standard duty on a bottle of wine is, er, £1.29

Double check your code expiry dates, most run out on 4th March, but free delivery doesn't actually start until 5 March. Your order will accept it but when it is delivered the points will be invalid. Tesco would not give me my points last time they did this.
