  • I am so pleased this idea came up. I love the idea of a job a day

Today's job was to plant up the container for the front of the house. The plants seem to have been on the kitchen side for about 3 weeks.

I also cleaned all the outside windows and cleaned the double glazing down.

    Tomorrows job: the airing cupboard!!!
Can I ever learn this budgeting lark? So far it's not looking promising

Good in you! Washing dogs can be a real chore! In my case it then involves cleaning the bathroom too followed by at least one load of washing.

My tip for smelly dogs is find a place with a stream. My two get covered in mud, roll in stinky things and generally get themselves in a state.

They get put in the stream at the end towelled off and are persil White by the time they get home.

Well today's NSJ was to sort out the dining room which had become somewhat of a dumping ground (there is a theme in my posts!)

If I'd have left it then it'd frustrate the life out of me and leave me in a mood! So I am really pleased it's looking lovely again.

Tomorrow's NSJ is to stitch DS's jumper that his Nana knit him. She's fantastic at knitting however not as great at the stitching together bless her. I'd love her talents for knitting - maybe I will teach myself one day.

Well done everyone - keep it up! :T

  • Cut open a few hundred rosemary teabags (an approved foods offer a long while back) and decanted in to a couple of small kilner jars. Good job I love rosemary. :D

Found more boxes in the kitchen/dining room tidy! So this one off job has happened twice in 2 days.

Well mine too a back seat for a while as everything seemed non standard for a few days there - you know the situ where everything comes at once!

Todays "planned" NSJ is to wrap ebay items that I have sold. Tomorrow's is to clean car out and Sunday's is to plant more seeds.

I am back now after being MIA!

Todays planned NSJ was feed the friendship cake, which I did before breakfast. I have also gone through DD's jumpers and dresses and removed any that are too small, the rest of her clothes need going through along with all of DS's but at least I've started. Whilst I was out earlier I recycled the carrier bags & tetra packs which haven't been done since before Christmas.

It feels like a huge achievement 5 NSJs in one day.

I have been back through this thread and made a list of the NSJs we have all done to remind myself of some of the things I need to do as well as adding others as they occur, that way some things well get down and also I should never have the excuse of I couldn't think of anything.

I'm not sure what NSJ I'll do tomorrow but I am feeling excited at the prospect of setting goals and achieving them.

Sorted a few bits out for a charity tombola I am organising. Then cleared half of the spare room as have a student coming in a weeks time and its become a bit of a dumping ground.
