  • I took everything out of two drawers in the kitchen, washed the drawer's then put things back in neatly after I'd sorted through them and binned a load.
  • Well I finally got round to spot painting the ceiling where I'd touched with the paint we used on one bedroom wall. Been putting it off three weeks now and it only took me 5 minutes, also sorted through our bathroom cabinets too and threw away loads of empty bottles of the OH's deodrant and toiletries. Tomorrows job will be to make time to properly clean the oven out as I'll never ever get round to doing it as we hardly use it at the moment so I can see it never getting done otherwise! :j

I fixed the oven!!! The main oven element blew this morning. A quick check online for prices, then a phonecall to a local supplier for comparison, then a quick trip to town. The local supplier was able to sell me the element and a new bulb for the oven (as that went a few weeks back) for a few pence more than I could find the element online, so a bargain. It took at the most 10 mins to take out the old element and replace it. Not bad for a girly :-) (DH wouldn't have had a clue lol)

Planted two apple trees in the front garden.

Rode cycle into town as the local constabulary advertised FREE cycle postcode marking and as it turned out the local CSO gave me a pen and sticker and told me to do it myself:(. Yea I know I should be grateful but they stamped my frame on my old cycle.

NSJ for tomorrow is to clear out the under sink cupboard :(

First time I've been on this thread - fantastic idea (though probs won't manage it every day). So today's extra was washing the car which was filthy. I used the two-bucket method I'd read about somewhere on this site and it worked very well. OH had been talking about going to commercial car wash, so most definitely an OS

This thread is new to me as well, but what a great idea!! I have TONS of NSJs that need to be done, so the idea of just picking one small job each day is brilliant!!

Today's NSJ is to clean out my small craft cupboard. I have loads of craft equipment and items, but they are quite disorganised right now. So we'll start with the small cupboard.

Great idea for a thread, i remember a similar one from a little while ago where we called the jobs frogs or tadpoles depending on size. I have a whole list of NSJs and due to lots of cleaning in the half term more have been added. the NSJ that i completed today was to sort out a huge box of bits, bobs and paperwork. ot sure which NSJ i will do tomorrow but with my list I have plenty to choose from.
