  • Morning all :D

How lovely to see people thinking the same way I do :)

Last nights non standard job was to ebay 5 items which I have done :)

Tonight's is to pot the seedlings I have grown, only tomatoes at present. I must do this before they die as the whole point is to help me live the simple life I long for and if i fail with my first attempt at growing seeds it doesn't bode well! Lol.

I am going to write one list which has everything on it that is in my mind that needs doing, then I will take my daily non standard job from that 1 at a time.

    love this thread idea :-)

At the weekend we (ie DH) fixed the broken flusher on the toilet! Took all of about 3 mins to do, actually embarassing that it was such an easy job lol

And we replaced both broken bulbs in our hallway. Been putting it off cos it's been raining, and the ladders were all the way out the back of the house in the rain, ceiling is a good 10ft tall, so I ended up on DH's shoulders getting the bulb fixed lol
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
  • Today I will attempt to make pancakes.

For some reason known only to themselves the Pancake faerie's do not favour me, and I end up with inedible, circular soggy frisbees. :rotfl:

  • Evening All :)

So lovely to see those follow me over from my diary along with everyone else - seems like alot of us are in the same boat :p

Been having a good giggle at some of the comments and seeing others posting is spurring me into action.

Tonight I have repotted those seedlings that needed to go into larger tin size pots so they all have their new beds for the night and the next few weeks. Another day I need to plant some more seeds to keep them staggered.

There's a couple of options for tomorrow night's NSJ so I will sleep on it and post in the morning what it shall be.

    Well done everyone :T

Yesterday I gave the conservatory a good clean, including the windows inside and out, all ready to sit in and admire the garden (well I need to do the gardening first).

Whilst cleaning it out it struck me that there was a wall that was pointless in the garden (we moved here 5 months ago so still sussing out what/where etc). I decided it needed to come down, hunted out the hammer and bolster and a roll of rubble sacks and got stuck in. DH thought I was mad as it looked like it might rain at any second. Got the wall down, chopped all the mortar off the bricks, stacked them and bagged up the rubble in just over an hour, the resulting room on the patio means I can now put up my outdoor table....so that's today's job!
