Hi, i got some today, thanks op, only drink coffee. I had the last 5 on shelf, sel priced at £1.50.
If any of you dare go to another shop :eek: then the coffee would be a great APG item as it is £3 in asda and it would then cost £1.35 with the 10% cheaper guarantee, plus there is the £5 off £40 on at the moment. That would solve the problem of searching for stock. Just make sure you buy AT LEAST 8 different items in total though.

I noticed this on Saturday, so apologies for not posting sooner, but didn't realise quite how much of a bargain it was until today.
Nescafe Gold Blend Decaff 100g is reduced to £1.50. I bought one on Sat and it just had a yellow SEL saying price drop and I thought, oh that's quite a good deal. I went back today to get some more thinking I'd stock up and someone's has messed up as it should be Tesco Own Brand Decaff Gold Label which is down from £1.80 to £1.50 - big poster hanging down from the ceiling with it on.
I thought, oh no, I've missed getting some more as white label back on the Nescafe GB Decaff saying £3.68. I thought, I'll just check it on the scanner in case & bingo - still coming up at £1.50! Anyway, nice coffee, plus it's decaff, so healthier and with a £2.18 saving over the normal price - suspect it'll revert to full price tomorrow though.

I know this reply is late haven't been around for a while but the decaf thing being healthier i thought so too till i looked into it, if you drink a lot of coffee the beans that make decaf are actually higher in fat content so can cause colestrol problems i went on a diet and though decaf for less fluid retention but yeah im back on the water with the occasional normal coffee, there are so many contradictions to things that are supposedly healthy for us now i kind of give up trying to figure it all out0 -

Can I be really dumb and try to figure something out?!
If I was to go to Tesco tomorrow and buy say the smarties egg, I would be charged £7 but because that's £3 more then the label says, if I went to the cs desk I'd be given a £6 refund therefore actually making £2?? I'm a bit new to all this incase you can't tell!!
ThanksMFW £190,450/£141,1400 -

You buy egg: £7.00
You are overcharged: £3.00
DTD (double the difference) = £6.00
Egg cost you £1.00I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

But surely the original post suggested that the egg was priced at £4, so it would be a saving...
Please correct me if I am wrong.0 -
