Problems with Orange contract - anyone else?

I renewed my Orange contract in October 2010, taking out a 21 month contract meaning I should be eligible for an upgrade in June 2012.

When I called up to confirm the exact date I could upgrade, and to see if I can do it earlier, I was told me contract end date was in April 2013. For some reason they have the completely wrong renew date on my records. Not only that but they are saying I took out a 27 month contract which not only am I sure I didn't but I am also fairly sure doesn't even exist.

Has anyone has this or a similar problem with them?

Neither 21 or 27 month contracts exist as standard, but I am assuming that you upgraded 3 months early and the new contract was tagged on to your existing contract.

So the question is "Did I sign up for a 24 or 18 month contract last time?"

Take a look at your Orange account on line and see if that helps. It's a long shot, but also ask if they still have the recording of the call or any paperwork that they sent. Without that, it's a he says - she says situation and in these cases, the person who can ruin the other's credit record wins.

I didn't think you could take out a 21mth contract
i thought it was 12/18/24mths
To me it looks like you took an early upgrade say 3mths early and Orange have added that 3mths to your 24mths which would be 27mths.
