Table numbering

I know it sounds funny, but, a friend of ours turns into a real monster if she isn't fed. As do 2 of my sons... So for the sake of the people who are sat with them I would make sure they were fed quickly. Luckily said friend isn't invited in the day.

p.s. yes, we all KNOW that the closer the table, the more 'important'/close the people are to the B&G, it's just that numbered tables can really hammer home the point!

If you are invited to a wedding it would suggest you know the b and g well and therefore have some 'importance' to them! Unless they are inviting people off the street. Sometimes people over think things too much!

Formal weddings are all about politics.
Say you went to your friends wedding last year and they sat you at table 1. How will they feel if you seat them on table 6? NIGHTMARE!

Thank goodness my friends have better things to worry about! Frankly if they are offended about being on table 6 then I couln't give two hoots!
For the record we only have 6 tables. And my sisters are on table 6...

He he. It's ok - the positions of the tables are well thought out and really shouldn't offend anyone. No doubt there will be someone who is, but seriously, it is least of my concerns!

Totally, it's so silly.
We thought of various naming ideas for the tables, but didn't really see the point.
We didn't have a theme so names wouldn't just been a bit random really.
Plus numbers are easier to see at a glance when scanning a room of tables.0 -
There are so many other politics that I have decided sod it, numbers it is!!!
People will be sat where they're sat and it will be tough luck!
(Also, our table numbers are being stuck on to the candles, so i couldn't fit names on there!!!)First date 10.2.2002

Emz, I like your style! Rainbow drops I like yours too!
Wanchai - I know. I am so pleased she is only invited to the night do because I had several people requesting not to sit with her! She has a heart of gold but is just one of those 'me me me' people so people tend to miss the golden heart bit, which is a shame really.
